INDIANA UNIVERSITY

Founded in 1820, Indiana University Bloomington is the biggest of IU's eight campuses and the largest in the state. From its humble beginning as the "State Seminary" and only 12 students graduating in the first year, IU now ranks in the top 50 universities in the United States.

Indiana University offers over 550 academic programs, 200 undergraduate majors, 300 overseas study programs, and 200 research centers and institutes including the Indiana Geological and Water Survey. IU’s campus, located in the heart of the Indiana Limestone Heritage Trail, was recognized as one of the most beautiful collegiate campuses in the USA.
