PRESENTATION GUIDLINES

There are two kinds of presentations for this year’s online TSOP Conference:
‘Oral’ and ‘Poster’.
SUBMISSION: THIS IS IMPORTANT AND YOU MUST COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING
PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BELOW VERY CAREFULLY!!! NON COMPLIANCE WILL RESULT IN NON ACCEPTANCE
Due to the large number of presentations we have to be extremely strict with timing in order to give all presenters the respect they deserve and all the attendees the option to question.
   
A. ORAL PRESENTATIONS:
1.

ALL PRESENTATIONS WILL BE GIVEN BY VIDEO FOLLOWED BY A Q&A SESSION. Click HERE for suggestions how to record the presentation.
2. Total time for ORAL presentations (with questions) is 20 mins.
3.

The recording can be NO MORE than 14 mins.
If your recording is even 1 sec over, it will not be accepted.
4.


Questions will last for 6 mins at a maximum (total time will not exceed 20 mins). Moderators will be extremely strict and will cut the question/answers off at exactly 20 mins. (which is the total allotted time for both the video and Q&A).
   
B. POSTER PRESENTATIONS:
1.

ALL PRESENTATIONS WILL BE GIVEN BY VIDEO FOLLOWED BY A VERY SHORT Q&A SESSION. Click HERE for suggestions how to record the presentation.
2. It is recommended to use the slide TEMPLATE provided HERE.
3. Total for time for POSTER presentations (with questions) is 6 mins.

The recording can be NO MORE than 3 mins.

f your recording is even 1 sec over, it will not be accepted.
5.


Questions will last for 3 mins at a maximum (total time will not exceed 6 mins ). Moderators will be extremely strict and will cut the question/answers off when 6 mins (which is the total allotted time for both the video and Q&A).
   
C. SUBMISSION OF VIDEO AND PARTICIPATION IN Q&A
1.
ALL videos must be received by 12th of August.
2.

If videos are sent after the 12th of August, they will not be accepted and presentations will be removed from the schedule.

At least one AUTHOR of each presentation (or registered co-author) MUST attend the Q&A session associated with their presentation. If they do not, they will be removed from the final program of abstracts and the presentation cannot be referenced as part of this conference.

All videos need to emailed to TSOP2022@ciphercoal.com on or before 12th of August.
If the presentations are too big to email, then it is the author’s responsibility to find a suitable transfer method, such as dropbox or a Google Link (etc).

It is encouraged that the authors send their video presentations well before the 12th of August due date to ensure acceptance.

   
D. AVAILABILITY OF PRESENTATIONS
1.




Poster presentations will be made available at the end of the first day of the Conference (i.e. 14 September). This will allow participants to view the presentations ahead of time and prepare written or live questions. The poster presentations will be available for viewing for a period of two weeks after the conference. A link will be sent as to where to find these.
2.


All Oral presentations will be made available after the last day of the conference (i.e. 16 September) and be available for a period of only two weeks after the conference. A link will be sent as to where to find these.
3.

The link will only be sent to officially registered participants and will be tied to their emails. The talks will not be available for download.
