Tour of the Smithsonian's Natural History Museum

On Wednesday we will arrange a half-day guided tour of the Smithsonian's Natural History Museum located on the Mall in Washington, D.C. This is your chance to see parts of the museum and collections not accessible to the general public. Metro transportation tickets will be provided to the registrants. 09:00 - 12:00 hr, Limit 10.

A short note from our hosts

The collections staff will be able to provide a 1-2 hour tour of our departmental fossil collections for The Society for Organic Petrology on the morning of Wednesday, September 24, 2003. We would like to limit the participates to a maximum of ten people. The parts of the collections visited on the tour would depend on the tour guides involved. If several of us help out, it would probably be a combination of invertebrate, vertebrate, and possibly paleobotany areas.
