Parking
*Garage: Across the street from the main terminal. First 30 minutes free, then $2 for each half-hour, with a daily maximum of $30.
* Daily Lot B: At Aviation Boulevard (Route 170) and Elm Road, northwest of the airport. First 30 minutes free, then $2 an hour, with a daily maximum of $11. Shuttle buses to the terminal run every eight minutes.
* Express Service Parking (ESP): On Aviation Boulevard across from the Air Cargo Complex. $3 an hour up to $13 a day. Dispatched shuttle buses to the terminal run every five minutes.
* Satellite or long-term parking (Blue and Green lots): On Aviation Boulevard a few miles north of the airport. $1 an hour with a daily maximum of $7; every seventh day is free. Shuttle buses to the terminal run every 10 minutes.
Overflow (Gold, Red and Pink lots): These lots are open during holiday periods when the airport is busiest. The Gold Lot is farthest, on Dorsey Road (Route 176) east of Aviation Boulevard and is the first of the overflow lots to open. The Red Lot is off Amtrak Way near the train station. The Pink Lot is a few miles south of the airport off Aviation Boulevard. $1 an hour up to a daily maximum of $7; every seventh day is free. Shuttle buses to the terminal run every 15-20 minutes.

Getting There
* By train: Both Amtrak and MARC trains travel from Union Station and New Carrollton to the BWI Rail Station, where a free shuttle bus connects you to the airport.
Amtrak runs from 5:05 a.m. until 10:45 p.m. from Union Station and departs from New Carrollton nine minutes later. Return service from BWI starts at 5:20 a.m. and ends at 11:32 p.m. The trip is 25 minutes to/from Union Station and 15 minutes to/from New Carrollton. $23 each way from Union Station, $22 from New Carrollton. MARC trains depart Monday through Friday nearly hourly; no weekend or holiday service. Service from Union Station is 6:05 a.m. to 10:15 p.m.; from New Carrollton, 6:16 a.m. to 10:26 p.m.; from BWI, 5:07 a.m. to 8:57 p.m. The trip takes 35 minutes. Cost is $5 one way, $8.75 round trip.
