Please note that the fieldtrip schedule has been changed. As of June 23rd we have changed the fieldtrip to better suit the theme of the meeting and accommodate the extensive Technical Sessions. Check back often for any late changes in details.
Note: Extra travel & accomodations information.Overview: A two-day trip is planned with Day 1 having its first stop at the famous Joggins Fossil Cliffs World Heritage Site followed by a visit to the site's new museum. In the early afternoon we will tarvel on to the famous Albertite mine site in New Brunswick. Day 2 will be spent mostly in the Sussex, New Brunswick area examining outcrops of Mississippian gas-producing fluvial reservoir and lacustrine source facies, and later a trip to an active shale gas producing facility.
