Transportation Information
for the 27th Annual TSOP Meeting
Denver, Colorado, USA - September 12 - 16, 2010
Travel to the Sheraton Denver West Hotel from Denver International Airport (DIA) is by major highways. The hotel is located about 35 miles (55km) from DIA.

Driving Directions:
Leave Denver International Airport (DIA) via Pena Blvd., traveling south.
There will be no turns off of this road, and Pena will run directly into
Interstate 70 (I-70) west bound. Once on this road you will drive west
until you see Interstate 25 South. Take this exit and go until you see
the 6th Avenue West exit. Take this exit and drive about 12 miles (19 km);
look for the Union/Simms Blvd. exit. At Union/Simms Streets you will turn
left (South); you will go through one light at the end of the bridge; go
about 200 meters further-- and turn left at the next light. Go about 60
meters and turn right - go straight into the parking area of the first
building, turn right, go around and past this first building; the
second building is the Sheraton Hotel, about 70 meters from the
parking area turn in.
The Internet makes it easier to compare travel plans for transportation and directions. Denver International Airport is served by numerous companies with an equal number of options for transportation to local and mountain destinations. Below are a few choices available to help you arrive at the Sheraton and perhaps plan more activities. Most of the providers below cost about the same to get to the Sheraton. Most sites list their services cost. A few carriers will transport several people for the price of one person. Non-reservation taxis are available outside the DIA terminal at the ground transportation level. Please research the possibilities.

City Bus Service:

The meeting will be held at the Sheraton Denver West Hotel*. This hotel is located in Lakewood, Colorado, west of Denver. It is about 55km (35 miles) from Denver International Airport, easily accessed by major highways.
